Shown at the RSA Residencies for Scotland exhibition 2023, these works were made over the course of two two-week stints in Sweeney’s Bothy on Eigg during winter 2022-23. These works revolve around the creation of a 1:1 scale drawing of part of the Cleadale Cliffs, which was first drawn in ash and charcoal from the bothy stove and then hung down at Singing Sands beach, where the elements were left to erode the drawing just as they erode the cliff itself.
